Rome Private Experiences for Travel Advisors

Private cultural visits and tailored Rome programmes for travel advisors, travel designers, concierge teams and DMCs planning journeys for their clients.

Discuss a Client Brief
Built Around the Journey

A considered Rome component, shaped around your client.

Rome Private Experience works with travel professionals to develop private cultural experiences around guests’ interests, available time and the wider itinerary. We begin with the brief, then assess which places and formats fit the requested dates and operating conditions.

How We Can Help

One visit, a multi-day stay or a hosted programme.

The work may be a single guided visit or a sequence of cultural modules. The scope is agreed around what the advisor needs RPE to deliver.

Private FIT Experiences

For couples, families and small private groups, we shape visits around interests such as Ancient Rome, art, architecture, historic residences and the city’s archaeological layers. The route and pace can be discussed for each party.

Multi-Day Rome Itineraries

For clients staying several days, experiences can be distributed across the visit rather than compressed into one long day. We consider the hotel or meeting point, available time and the other arrangements already in the programme.

Specialist Cultural Visits

For returning visitors or clients with a particular interest, the brief can focus on a period, collection, archaeological site or neighbourhood. Site-specific opening rules and access are checked before a proposal is confirmed.

Incentive and Executive Programmes

For DMCs and corporate planners, RPE can develop one cultural module or a sequence of activities for different guest groups, with timing, capacity, movement and agreed responsibilities considered in advance.

Examples from the RPE Portfolio

A portfolio to build from.

These published experiences provide starting points for a conversation. They are not a promise that every site, time slot or special arrangement will be available on every date.

Ancient Rome, with context

Connect the Roman Forum, the Palatine and the Colosseum around the guests’ interests in politics, architecture or daily life. The Ancient Rome experience can be adapted to the time available. Entry and any restricted areas remain subject to official ticket and access conditions.

Art and historic interiors

Consider the Galleria Colonna, Villa Farnesina and other collections or residences in the RPE portfolio. A private guided visit and an exclusive opening are different arrangements; exclusive access must be verified with the venue.

A private day, planned around priorities

For clients with limited time, Private Rome in a Day offers a starting framework. Monuments, pace and sequence can be discussed against the clients’ priorities and ticket availability.

Clarity on Access

Private guidance and exclusive access are different things.

A private guide means the guiding is arranged for your clients. It does not automatically mean a venue is closed to other visitors. Special openings, restricted areas, after-hours visits and event use depend on the institution or property and require confirmation for the specific date.

Our proposals distinguish confirmed arrangements from options that remain subject to availability, approval and written confirmation. Nothing is described as reserved until the required venue or supplier confirmation and the RPE booking confirmation are in place.

A Straightforward Partner Workflow

From first idea to a workable proposal.

1. Share the essentials

Send the dates, guest numbers and ages, interests, preferred language, hotel or meeting point, available time, mobility or accessibility needs, existing bookings and indicative budget.

2. Review fit and feasibility

We assess the requested experience against opening schedules, access rules, timing, capacity and the rest of the itinerary. If the original idea does not fit, we can discuss feasible alternatives within the brief.

3. Receive a tailored proposal

The proposal sets out the suggested format, scope, inclusions, exclusions and commercial terms for that request. Public prices are not listed on this page.

4. Confirm the arrangements

Where a venue or supplier must approve access, we make that dependency clear. The booking is treated as confirmed only after the required confirmations and RPE booking steps are complete.

Information That Helps Us Plan

A useful brief saves time on both sides.

Please include what you already know: travel dates and flexibility; number and ages of guests; language; interests; hotel or meeting point; walking pace and accessibility requirements; fixed appointments or tickets; preferred experience duration; and indicative budget.

For incentive or corporate requests, add the total group size, any sub-groups, programme timings, transport interfaces and the service elements already managed by your team. If details are still being finalised, tell us what is confirmed and what remains open.

Questions from Travel Advisors

Practical points before you brief us.

Can you work with an itinerary we have already built?

Yes. Share the existing schedule and the Rome component you would like RPE to handle. We will assess timing and feasibility for that part of the programme.

Does a private guide mean the site is exclusive?

No. Exclusive opening, after-hours access or entry to a restricted area requires separate venue approval and written confirmation.

How far in advance should we enquire?

As early as possible, particularly when the request depends on a limited-capacity site, venue approval or a special operating arrangement. Lead times vary; we confirm them for the specific option.

Can you provide partner rates?

Trade arrangements are discussed directly for the requested programme. The proposal clarifies the agreed scope and commercial terms before anything is confirmed.
